3. Update on the Nagios dashboard
The global mechanism with Nagios is working correctly but :
The notification system has been in trouble due to a broker problem causing some incoherencies in the dashboard (statuses not updated)
Some statuses are useless ( WARNING for the masked alarms)
Consequently :
we have developed an acknowledgment mechanism to be sure that we have all notifications
The status WARNING is ignored
Currently, what need to be terminated :
the discrimination between all Nagios Boxes . Which Nagios Box is the official one ? James will propose a way to distinguish it.
The MDDB connection to retrieve a dynamic configuration for NGIs . This work should be done also with the Nagios Team

4. Dashboard Package Current Situation
=> A package of test has been deployed
- In Portugal
- in UKI
- In Czeck Republic (still on going)
Problems encountered with the package itself :
Problem with the format of certificate incompatible with the SSL layer in GOC DB.
Problem with the configuration of Lavoisier ( fixed for next version of the package)
Some inconsistencies encountered between the documentation and the set-up.
External difficulties :
Problem with the Web Server installation :

Next version will propose a documentation more adapted and the synchronization with the Central Version .
The work with the synchronization, the acknowledgment and the discrimination needs to be completely achieved to propose the official package (End of April)

Specifications are in validation process :
Need for “grid body” TBD and VO naming implementation TBC
Implementation ~ 2 month
Prototype work already started and delivery of the new version end of May
Current data migration strategy defined, coupled with the first VO registration renewal and the new or updated workflows in place
Process completion expected by end of June

Select different targets (VO Managers , Site managers , ngi managers...)

What's new :
Define your own list of targets
Define your own predefined categories ( template + list )

Open Question : should we propose a version in the regional package ?
Is this feature meaningful in a NGI ?
