Cortijo el Burraco This superb olive farm & equestrian estate is isolated from any kind of noise in a privileged enclave within the area of the Natural Park 70 km from Cordoba and 80 km from Antequera. The old, but well maintained and traditionally furnished cortijo is organized in the typical Andalusian architecture with a large internal patio giving access to the stables, staff quarters, storage and main house.

The main house has several reception rooms with open fireplaces and beamed ceilings on the ground floor as well as two kitchens, one of them industrial catering to bigger events. On the upper floor are seven double bedrooms with two bathrooms and the master suite. The staff quarters could easily be converted into guest suites and include another six bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living room.

Equestrian Facilities
There are stabling facilities for 70 horses with most of the horse feed being grown on the farm. There is a large bodega at present serving as a hall for the horse carriages. The large covered terrace leads into the garden with swimming pool and bordering a big lake fed by the Genil river which provides the necessary water for the land.

There is a concession in perpetuity from the Confederación Hidrográfica del Guadalquivir or 39L/sec. The water is pumped from the river to a m2 reservoir at the highest point of the finca which has a capacity of liters.

Land The land in total is 277,3608 hectares of which the olive groves amount to 202 hectares and there are 36,000 highly productive olive trees with an annual subsidy of around € , ha are variety Hoijblanca, 30 ha are variety Picual and 20 ha are variety Manzanilla, all the trees have automatic irrigation. The rest of the land is made up of 1,9957 ha arable, 15,0706 pastureland, 0,0440 wooded pasture, 2,9830 ha unproductive, shrub pasture and the rest are fruit trees.

Location The finca is reached by an asphalted road 3.1 km from the main road. There is only one entrance to the estate with its iron gate and it is totally fenced and surrounded by the Rio Genil. Centrally situated 110 km from Seville, 80 km from Antequera and 70 km from Cordoba in Andalusia.
