History Aboriginals arrived in Australia between and years ago. There are 600 different language groups from the north of Australia to Tasmania

Aboriginal Clothing The clothing depended on the climate
In the warm climate they were not much clothing but in the cold weather they wear lots of clothing

Hunting Aboriginal people can tell where animals have been because of the tracks. Women hunted small animals and gathered other food. Aboriginals used different tools and weapons in different environments.

Land Based Hunting In the inland part of Australia aboriginals catch food like kangaroos, emu and snakes. Aboriginals hunted their food by using a hunting boomerang to brake the legs of the animal … then spear it.

Gathering Women gathered nuts, berries, fruit and vegetables. Women gathered food because men were out hunting.

Weapons There are lots of different weapons like boomerangs. There are two types of boomerangs there is a hunting boomerang and a boomerang that comes back.

Bush medicine They crushed paper bark then applied to wound. People sucked on a desert mushroom to fix saw lips.

Shelter Aboriginals lived in houses made out of reasonable thick tree bark or trees.

Art Much of aboriginal art showed the landscape from a cliff view.
