GERMAN MAJOR + + BA Language Requirement for Language Majors:
49 credits + BA Language Requirement Minimum of 15 upper division credits at OSU, E-campus included Minimum of 36 credits must be completed, regardless of which level one tests into B- or higher in each course is required (“S” grades are not accepted) German coursework: GER 111, GER 112, GER 113 (4, 4, 4)—First Year German GER 211, GER 212, GER 213 (4, 4, 4)—Second Year German GER 311, GER 312, GER 313 (3, 3, 3)—Third-Year German language GER 411 (WIC), GER 412, 413 (3, 3, 3)—Fourth-Year German language GER 379 (1-2)—Proctor Experience GER 410 (minimum 6 cr. required)—Internship + Study Abroad/Internship Abroad Program: Students must participate in a study abroad program or in an approved internship experience in a German-speaking country, or fulfill this requirement as determined by the School of Language, Culture, and Society. Students who do not find a program that fits their needs can petition to have a different program approved.
