During WWI New-Zealand was a British colony.

In Samoa and Apia. But the German governor surrended with no resistance. After they went to Egypt. Second

They had struggled in a lot of
Coutries and conflicts. The New-Zealanders dug the Wellington Quarry in Arras and participated in the battle on April 9th in 1917.

The consequence 500 women enrolled in the War. But ten of their sacrificed their lifes when a German U boot attacked their ship.

18.500 New Zealanders lost their lives during the First World War.
And were wounded

Anzac Day To pay tribute and honor the soldiers, New-Zealand organize a special day : Anzac Day. On april 25th. In New-Zealand , there are a lot of museums to pay tribute to the victimes like: Auckland War Memorial Museum.
