2 Trip Details Thursdays after school Leave CMS around 3:15
Return to CMS around 9:45 Dates: January 11, 18, 25, and February 1, 8, 15 Makeup date: February 22

3 Safety 1 Adult for every 10 kids 1 Adult in the lodge at all times
Badges with barcodes that include name, allergies, and group name Ski patrol has our cell phone numbers Ski patrol and chaperones on the mountain Ski buddies Check in and eating Mandatory helmets Middle School demographic No tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior Emergency Procedures in place in case of injury

4 Missing a Trip Students can miss one trip that will be fully reimbursed Voucher for weeknight ski trip Inclement weather- if a trip is canceled due to bad weather, we will have make up days tacked onto the end Remember, weather may be different there than in NJ!

5 Lessons Lessons are offered in two different package
One hour in duration Broken into stations Students get a card and receive hole punches for lesson completion Differentiated based on skill level Generally 3 is sufficient, but more can be added Encouraged for students who have limited experience

6 Rentals Students who ARE NOT renting, their equipment will be stored at school in a secure location Students WHO ARE renting will input their information on Shawnee's website and pick up equipment upon arrival Not mandatory to rent from the mountain but suggested

7 Equipment Waterproof gloves, pants, and a warm waterproof coat.
A warm under layer. Goggles (not necessary but can help in the cold/snow) Good socks (One layer will do) For cold days- face mask or hats Snowboard/Skis/Boots Helmet (option to purchase) A change of dry/warm clothes for the bus ride home Drop Off: in the morning at pre-determined location

8 Price Options 6 lift tickets: $ 459 6 lift tickets + 3 lessons: $483
6 lift tickets + ski/board rentals: $514 6 lift tickets + rental + lesson: $538 Optional Helmet Purchase – $65 Optional Meal Vouchers (5)- $45

9 Registration Information
8th Graders: Give directly to Mrs. Combe October 23-October 27 7th Graders: Give forms directly to Mr. Clayton October 30-November 3 ed forms will not be accepted to get on the registration list. Students must print the forms from the CMS ski club website.

10 Registration @ Shawnee
Once we collect 50 forms and form our roster, those 50 students who submitted correct forms will be given a code to go on and register with Shawnee Mountain. Payment will occur at this time. Students should not share the code. Students who register without turning in proper forms will not be allowed to participate in the club and WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
