Science Notebook

2. The Front Cover Here is an example
The front cover of your notebook must have the following:
1. Your first and last name.
2. Your grade number.
3. The title “Science”
4. Your teacher’s name.
5. At least 2 diagrams, photographs, or pictures reflecting Science.
6. At least four (4) colors on the cover (white or black not counted as colors)
7. Glue, tape, or staple the cover page to the front of the notebook

4. Table of Contents Here is an example
1. This will be the first sheet of lined paper inside the notebook.
2. You will use the front and back of this sheet for the Table of Contents.
3. Draw a line down the center of the page.
4. The left column has the title “LEFT PAGE #.”
5. The right column has the title “RIGHT PAGE #.”

Page Numbering
1. Number the BOTTOM OUTSIDE CORNER of each sheet of paper.
2. The TABLE OF CONTENTS page is page # 1
3. The back of the TABLE OF CONTENTS page is page # 2
4. Number ALL the pages until the back cover is reached.
5. Number your notebook like a textbook.

1. Starting on p.80, will be the vocabulary section of your notebook.
2. Create a title page on page 80.
3. Draw at least 2 pictures or diagrams reflecting Science.
4. Make sure to use at least 4 colors! (white or black not counted as colors)
Starting at p.81, label the top of each page (up at the header)
with a letter from the alphabet.
6. For example p.81 would be “A” and p.82 would be “B”.
