4. Who Was Hezekiah One of the most righteous kings in history
He trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel; so that after him there was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor among those who were before him. For he clung to the LORD; he did not depart from following Him, but kept His commandments, which the LORD had commanded Moses Kings 18:5-6

One of the most righteous kings in history Son of a wicked king – II Chronicles 28:1-8 Held fast against the Assyrians – II Kings 19 Restored the worship of God – II Chronicles 30-31

When Hezekiah asked, God changed His mind Moses – Exodus 32:14 David – 1 Chronicles 21:15
 Ex 32:14 So the LORD changed His mind about the harm which He said He would do to His people.
1Ch 21:15 And God sent an angel to Jerusalem to destroy it; but as he was about to destroy it, the LORD saw and was sorry over the calamity, and said to the destroying angel, "It is enough; now relax your hand." And the angel of the LORD was standing by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

25 "Far be it from You to do such a thing, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike. Far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth deal justly?"

 Jas 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months.

Prayer accomplishes great things: When we are right with God When we ask in faith with diligence When we are humble supplicants
 Consider how the world believes prayer works – without any rightouesness
