1. Big question
What is the color of water after running through different types of soil?
I will put soil in a cup and pour water in the cup and see what color the water is.

2. Hypothesis
Red Soil: I think the water will be pinkish brown because the soil is when wet pinkish brown.
Yellow/Tan Sand: I think the water will be tan and thick because the sand is thick and its yellow/tan.

5. instructions First cut a hole in the bowl Then tape the screen on
Now pour the soil in the bowl
Now attach the mini tube to the cup
Now get another bowl and attach the tube to that one
And finaly pour the water in the cup and see what happens

6. Control and Variable
The control group is just water and the variable group is dirt over water.

7. Facts from experiment
My first one is that the water turned very cloudy.
Second is that it is very thick.
And it took very long for all the water to go to the other bowl.
And last the water turned dark pink

That every dirt changes color after running through water.

9. Analysis of data
That Utah dirt turns tan and not thick or cloudy. And that red rock dirt turns pink and thick.

10. conclusion
After my data my conclusion is that all dirt turns a different color after water over it.
