4 Challenge 1 – self-updating and Sensing
Neudesic – Innovation Challenge Using Heroku to rapidly deploy an IoT solution for Guardian Drone Angel (GDA). Using Azure Text to Speech, Speech recognition API and facial recognition to receive a command and search for a person, recognize that person and finish out a command. Micro-Challenges Challenge 2 - intelligent Taking the navigational, operational and sensing data from the drone to make Intelligent decisions that can be used to take action. Technologies will be Machine learning, Big Data and cloud processing, along with real-time streaming data mechanisms such as Azure Streaming Analytics. Construct maps of locations for Drone to search for certain people, in a room, house or residence. 3 micro challenges or stages that are building blocks to formulate a viable IoT solution to help every day problems. Challenge 3 - assisting Intelligent actionable data will be passed to the Drone to help assist in day to day operations as well as in emergency situations, i.e., finding someone and bringing them back to a certain safe location.

Ford didn’t innovate in creating new technology, he innovated by using what was given to him, he didn’t create the assembly line, interchangeable parts, or the automobile. He took advantage of those and brought them together to form a work horse that produced a competitive product at a lower price than all the competitors. This is what we need to do to create and use Drone Self Autonomous flying machines. “If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.” Henry ford(maybe?)

Too much weight AR Drone 2.0 can’t support Raspberry PI 3 When mounted Drone flew 6 inches off of ground. Problems With every problem there lays a solution.

Cyberdyne Drone Connectivity Telnet and run connect script every time, switched access point to allow for internet connection as well as connection to Drone Run Code off of Raspberry PI Zero - Node JS Used to communicate with the Drone Commands the drone Communicates with Azure API’s to Speech and Facial Recognition. Purchased Parrot Bebop drone (working on right now) When mounted Drone flies as expected. Will need to work on Wi-Fi connectivity. Solutions Sometimes Solutions are tough to implement.

10 DEMO What you will see Tell Drone to Find “Joe”.
Drone will take off and fly looking for Joe. Display will show what Drone is viewing. Once Joe is found , a red box will identify Joe’s face . Drone will say Found you Joe Hope you are having a nice day! Drone will land. Power BI will show streaming altitude and battery data. Show data in Azure Data Lake Store.

11 What’s next! Fly drone from sql server
Use ML to make predictions and control drone Putting all these things together will create a solution that can be used anywhere that is IoT. Create total separation from on-prem Cloud only solution
