OSEP Pilot Program - Fiji
Initial discussions started in 2010 between RCCCE and FHF Program was finalized in early 2011 5 courses were planned for the Central (3) & Western (2) parts of Fiji The Courses were funded partially through Olympic Solidarity and the Fiji Hockey Federation.

Central/Eastern A total of 3 Courses were held in Suva A total of 31
Inclusive of youth, teachers, coaches & athletes

Western Programs 2 programs held in Lautoka
The first program included coaches & administrators (7) The second program were mostly teachers and Youth coaches (16 participants)

Why was the Program successful?
Fiji Hockey had a succession plan in place to ensure there was continuity from the CC Program to the Oceania Level 1 Support from some of the most senior hockey administrators who attended the course Mandate from FHF that all National Coaches must complete the CC Program

More Success Stories Of the 54 participants majority are still actively involved in coaching and other hockey related activities Case Study: Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School. Have teams in the Under 8, 10 , 12 & 14 in the Primary schools competition. Statistics show that teams with Club coaches that attended the OSEP and Oceania Hockey Programs have shown vast improvement in their teams performances
