God’s own people are:
Rebellious (2:3,4,5,6,7,8, 3:9)
Obstinate (v4)
Stubborn (v4)
Dangerous (v6)
Powerless to change (12:2)
Ezekiel 12:2 Son of man, you are living among a rebellious people. They have eyes to see but do not see and ears to hear but do not hear, for they are a rebellious people.
Ezekiel 36:26-27 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees...

...and hard-headed! (3:8-9)
Not easily intimidated (2:6 - 3 times; 3:9)
Willing to speak up (2:4,7; 3:4,11)
Like Jesus (Matthew 9:35)

The same way as Ezekiel:
Motivated by the glory of Jesus (Chapter 1)
Empowered by the Spirit (2:2)
Obedient to the Word (2:9-3:3)
