Will YOU send a smile this Christmas?
Last time OAA sent 113 shoe boxes and made 113 children SMILE – That makes ME Smile! (so at least 226 smiles)

Making your shoe box Wrap up a shoe box (lid separately – has to open)
Decide who your gifts are for and attach the label (girl/ boy) Fill it with new gifts from – toys, educational supplies, hygiene items, sweets, gloves, scarves etc. Donate £5 for every box you make for postage Take it to Miss Cox (G.13) or to Will & Ellie in the dinner hall, in plenty of time for the collection 8th November Get your pledge Be proud that you have made a difference to someone less fortunate than you!! National Smile day

Please don’t include: Gift suggestions: Damaged/used items
TOYS: dolls, toy cars, stuffed animals/ teddies, musical instruments, yo-yo’s, skipping ropes, balls, small puzzles etc. SCHOOL SUPPLIES: Pens, pencils & sharpeners, colours, stamps, stickers, colouring books, paper, picture books etc. HYGIENE ITEMS: Toothbrush & tooth paste, bar of wrapped soap, comb or hair brush, sponge/ flannel etc. OTHER ITEMS: hat, cap, gloves or scarf, hair accessories, jewellery, wind up/ solar torch, wrapped sweets. Note or card to the child, picture of you, your friends/ family Please don’t include: Damaged/used items War related items (guns/ knives/ soldiers etc.) Liquids or lotions (including bubbles) Chocolates or other food items Medicines Marbles or sharp objects Glass/ mirrors etc. Any clothes other than hat/ scarf.

You could do a shoe box in pairs, small groups, or as a VMG.
Any extra items can be donated to go in other boxes.
