1. Pie Day
What is pie day? Pie Day is a fundraiser where you sell pies via pre-order and then deliver them on the self-selected day.
Why should you hold a pie day? It’s a relatively easy fundraiser and sell to family and friends. Holidays (specifically Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) tend to be “pie holidays”—pies are part of the traditional celebration—meaning there’s a large demand for what you’re trying to sell.
How does it work? The group…
Selects the pies they’d like to sell (we recommend limiting the sizes and flavors, helps eliminate confusion and room for error).
Sets the price (we give a 15% discount off our retail pricing).
Creates an order form and collects orders (recommend collecting payment at time of order).
Submits order to Grant’s Bakery by agreed upon date.
Picks-up and pays for pies from Grant’s Bakery on agreed upon date and delivers/distributes to their customers.
