1 Various liver lesions. (A) Focal nodular hyperplasia in the liver presenting as a hypoechoic lesion (arrow). (B) Hemangioma with characteristic hyperechoic appearance. Although hemangiomas are vascular lesions, they usually demonstrate no flow on Doppler, possibly due to multidirectional or low-velocity flow. (C) Hepatic adenoma manifesting as subtle deviation from the normal echotexture of the liver. (D) Widespread hepatic metastases, manifesting as lobulated contour of the deep surface of the liver (white arrows). A hemangioma (black arrow) is also present.
