Ebola Virus -An infectious and generally fatal disease marked by fever and severe internal bleeding, spread through contact with infected body fluids.

History of Ebola In 1976, Ebola named after the Ebola River in Zaire first emerged in Sudan and Zaire. The first outbreak of Ebola infected over 284 people, with a mortality rate of 53%. A few months later, the second Ebola virus emerged from Yambuku, Zaire, Ebola-Zaire.

How can you get Ebola? The virus is not airborne.
Any needles that have been in contact with someone contaminated with the virus. Direct contact with body fluids, blood or corpse who is infected. Health care workers, Doctors, and Nurses are most likely to come in contact with the virus if not covered properly.
