Step 1: Identifying and Sorting: Use the Figurative Language “Cheat Sheet” to remember what each form of figurative language means.
Sort the song lyrics into the figurative language categories to which they belong. Some lyrics may contain more than one form of figurative language.
Identify at least two examples of each form of figurative language.
