1. FIND A SEAT (YES, WHEREVER YOU WANT) Open up your agendas and write down your homework for Math. Try to Solve the Math puzzle on the board.

2. Fire Drill Procedures (posted by door next to evacuation map)
Stop working.
Don’t take anything with you.
Remain quiet and orderly during the drill.
Last person to exit room will double check that no one still remains inside and close the door.
Students in bathrooms or outside their assigned room will join the nearest line exiting.
Do not stop in an area that may be needed by fire department personnel.

You will write down your homework in your agenda as soon as you come into class. It is posted next to the desktop computer on the wall.

Please note the posters on the wall to remind you of the classroom expectations as well as the Dickerson expectations. You should read these everyday on your own and be very familiar with them. I will ask individuals from time to time questions about the expectations. If you answer correctly you will receive a treat!!

29. STARS
For each test or quiz that you make an A you will receive a star to hang anywhere you wish in the classroom. I will keep a running total of the stars earned for each class. The winning class will receive a SPECIAL treat at the end of the year.
Class periods 1 and 2 will complete against each other and class periods 3, 4, and 5 will compete against each other.

Each Friday I will play a song from a certain decade. I will give you some trivia about it as well as show you how there would be no music if it were not for math!!!
