Fair trade is the practice of products being made ethically that specifically focuses on workers rights and safety Fair trade ensures that all employees are payed a living wage and that working conditions are safe. Fair trade products are produced in countries with inadequate labor laws – meaning most workers are forced to work dangerously long hours and in hazardous conditions that may lead to injury or even death. © 2007 Microsoft Corporation.
