Case Finland: LOTTERY FUNDS DISTRIBUTION
The proceeds of the National Lottery "Veikkaus" are entered as income to the Ministry of Education Budgetary decision-making: Finnish Parliament Proceeds distributed via the Ministry of Education and Culture for the beneficiaries according the law on distribution: - to the arts (38,5 %), to sports (25 %), to research (17,5 %) and youth work (9 %). the Lottery funds cover 98 % of all the financing granted by the Ministry of Education to the Finnish sports
