5. 1) Linear Motion : -
Motion in only one direction is called linear motion.
Ex.-
A bullockcart moving in one direction.

6. i) Uniform Linear Motion : -
Motion in which a specific distance is being covered in a particular period , is called uniform linear motion.
Ex. :-
Soldiers marching in a parade.

7. ii) Non – uniform Linear Motion :-
Motion that continuously changes its speed is called non-uniform linear motion.
Ex.:-
Leaping of frog.
2) Swimming of fish.

8. 3) Oscillatory Motion :-
A back & forth repetitive motion is called oscillatory motion.
Ex. :-
A girl swinging on the swing.

When a moving object passes through a certain point at regular intervals of time, its motion is called periodic motion.

The time taken by an object to cover a distance between two points is known as speed of the object.
