1. I’m Mrs. Pino
Teaching has been my lifelong dream, and is something I am truly passionate about! I am so excited to be your child’s third grade Reading/Language Arts teacher this year! It is going to be a year full of learning and fun, and I cannot wait to see what the year has in store for us! I thought you might like to know a little about me.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Robert, for the past 25 years. We have a 24 year old son {Miles} who lives in Virginia Beach, a 22 year old daughter {Rebekah} who lives in Clinton, MS, a 20 year old daughter {Jordan} who lives in Picayune, MS, an 18 year old son {Brennan}, and a 15 year old daughter {Hayley} who live with us, in Hancock County. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, crafting, and reading!
I grew up in Ohio and moved to Mississippi when I was 14. I graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi in I have 1 older brother, 3 younger brothers, and 3 younger sisters. My siblings live in Mississippi, North Carolina, Colorado, Ohio, and Japan!
This will be my second year teaching. I taught second grade at W.J. Quarles Elementary last year. Before pursuing my teaching degree, I worked as a substitute teacher in the Hancock County School District. I also taught Sunday school and children’s church, and volunteered in my own children’s classrooms for many years.
My goal as a teacher is to help each of my students reach his or her fullest potential and develop a desire to become life long learners.
