Some scary 2-line stories
There was a picture on my phone of me sleeping. I live alone. You get home, tired after a long day’s work and ready for a relaxing night alone. You reach for the light switch, but another hand is already there. I began tucking my son into bed and he asks me, “Daddy, can you check for monsters under my bed?” I look underneath for his amusement and see him, another him, under the bed, staring back at me quivering and whispering, “Daddy, there’s somebody in my bed.” She asked why I was breathing so heavily. I wasn’t.

More scary 2-line stories
A girl heard her mom yell her name from downstairs, so she got up and started to head down. As she got to the stairs, her mom pulled her into her room and said, I heard that, too.” I awoke to the sound of the baby monitor crackling with a voice comforting my baby boy. As I adjusted to a new position, my arm brushed against my wife, sleeping next to me. I awoke to the sound of knocking on the glass. At first I thought it was the window until I realized it was coming from the mirror again.

Antigone Theme – what is theme?
The theme in a story is its underlying message, or 'big idea.' In other words, what critical belief about life is the author trying to convey in the writing of a novel, play, short story or poem? ... It is what the story means. Often, a piece of writing will have more than one theme. What is Sophocles trying to tell us about: Women in society? Fate vs. Free Will? Rules and order? Power and it’s corrupting influences?
