3. Themes, Collections and Content, Digitization
At beginning, the content providers met in Leuven to discuss about Themes, Collections and Content to be selected for digitization. They shared knowledge about content selection, methodology for identification of masterpieces, workflow best practices, care, handling and long term preservation of original items. Then, in Girona, everybody was trained for the digitization activity

5. SPECIALIZED VOCABULARY
The EuropeanaPhotography multilingual vocabulary:
over 500 concepts related to photography
structured in a multifaceted, hierarchical way
12 languages: English (as the pivotal language), French, Dutch, German, Italian, Polish, Danish, Bulgarian, Slovak, Lithuanian, Catalan and Spanish

6. MINT-technology customized for photography
The MINT mapping tool
Basing on the MINT technology, a user-friendly platform was developed and it is in use for transforming the content providers’ metadata to the EuropeanaPhotography intermediate schema (based on LIDO), and to enrich them through the mapping tool with the EuropeanaPhotography Vocabulary.

7. IPR Guidebook
The IPR Guidebook A complete guide into the Europeana IPR model, the Data Exchange Agreement, with online supporting tools for companies and institutions. A second release with important updates is foreseen by end of May. A networking session about IPR has been proposed for the upcoming event of ICT2013 in Vilnius.
