Intro Paragraph one – Analysis of monopsony, applied to Tesco and diary suppliers. Use diagram. Evaluation – Tesco’s 30% control of the market does provide farmers with alternative buyers Paragraph 2 – possibility of Tesco’s colluding with other buyers. Refer to tacit collusion Evaluation – game theory. Will other supermarkets keep to the deal? Paragraph 3 – Issues such as shelf space/position being given for lump sums. Pay more, work longer, get less
Contributions will begin to rise in April 2012 and will go up further in 2013 and 2015, a pensions tax that will amount to a more than 3 per cent pay cut From 2015, normal pension ages (the age at which you can take your pension in full) will begin to rise, eventually reaching 68 or perhaps even higher. Pensions are to be increased by CPI inflation not RPI inflation. They will be based on 1/65 for each year of service. And this will be based on a ‘career average’.
