3. In order to achieve the standards set out in the curriculum, you are required to complete several tasks (CATs). When completed, these CATs make up a full unit of work and will be theory and prac based. You may use the booklet to complete the required work or you may present the work as a PowerPoint, Word Document, etc.
Throughout the unit of work, you will follow the design process.

Be stable (not topple over)

7. CAT 1 Inspirational Collage
Build an “Inspirational collage” of images
Visit a home ware store, use the internet, books, magazines, catalogues etc… in order to gather design ideas and concepts.
Evidence of at least 20 ideas in the form of diagrams, photographs or pictures all with annotations must be provided.

Evidence of investigation and validation for material choice will need to be shown..

These may be in the form of thumbnail sketches that should include, shape , form, size and colour details.
Annotations must be included in order to illustrate the development of your ideas.
