Program summary The Department of Federal Funding Community Fund Local Grants program supports initiatives that improve the health and wellbeing of Australians, awarding community groups up to $30,000 to fund programs within an EXISITING ORGANISATION to directly benefit their local community. The Department of Federal Funding Community Fund Local Grants program is fictitious.

Your organisation is eligible to apply if they observe the following requirements: Support the health and wellbeing of Australians Be endorsed by the Australian Tax Office with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status.

Instructions that MUST be followed
What will be funded? You must address the selection criteria fully and include the following:- An executive summary of the proposed community project/activity/initiative. An overview of the organisation including:- The organisation’s mission statement The objectives of the organisation. The values of the organisation The organisational structure -- Details of your project including the followings: Project Aims The target group: that is who you will be targeting with this project. (Include demographic details of beneficiaries of the program such as age group, socio-economic background.)

What will be funded? (contd.)
Details of your project : Present information that addresses the following:- What issues will be addressed for the target group by this project? Describe the benefits that will be gained by your target population from this program. Number of staff / volunteers required (one must be a paid project officer) Project Officer HR Plan – position overview and pre employment checklist and timetable. Methodology (Briefly and succinctly explain how will this project be implemented). How will the proposed project be measured and/or evaluated to determine whether it has been successful in achieving the proposed outcomes? The timeline for implementation of the community project. The project must be implemented within a one year period.

How much funding is available?
$550,000 Australia-wide, awarded in individual grants of $30, This funding is to be used (at least in part) for employment of a project officer. Applications for the full amount available ($30,000) only will be considered

Lodging your submission
All Submissions must be received by the due date. Late applications will not be considered unless special arrangements are made in advance and exceptional circumstances can be demonstrated. Applications close: Close of business Monday 30th October 2017
