Posterior Pituitary Hormones
Structurally consists of nerve fibers and neuroglia v. glandular epithelial cells of the anterior pituitary gland The nerve fibers originate in the hypothalamus Two hormones are produced: Antidiuretic hormone (vasopressin) Oxytocin
