2. Preterite of Regular –ar Verbs
When you want to talk about actions COMPLETED in the past use “el pretérito”.
Add the appropriate ending to the verb’s stem.

Don’t forget to add the accents.
Ex. Ayer miré tele.

3. Preterit of Verbs Ending in -car -gar -zar
Regular verbs that end in -car, -gar, -zar have a spelling change in the YO form of the preterit to maintain the original sound of the verb stem
