There are a lot of famous American ads today. But what does their history tell us?

3 McDonald’s

4 In the beginning, I should tell you some facts about our friend Mc.
1 out of 8 American workers have been employed by McDonald’s. McDonald’s opens a new restaurant every 14.5 hours. McDonald's restaurants feed 68 million people every day. That's more than the entire population of the U.K! McDonald's makes about $75 million per day. McDonald's used to sell pizza in the 70s. What?

5 This was the first McDonald’s advertisment. It’s a bit terrifying!

6 But let’s begin with the history of McDonald’s logos.

7 Yes, McDonald’s logo has really changed, but since 2003 it looks like shown on the last picture. We are still waiting for the new one and in my opinion it should look like...

9 Coca Cola

10 As I know, Coca Cola is the most popular beverage today
As I know, Coca Cola is the most popular beverage today. So, here are some facts. The very first Coca-Cola products contained cocaine — but only around 9 milligrams per glass. The drug was used at the time as a substitute for alcohol and was said to cure opium addiction. But cocaine was removed from Coca-Cola in 1903.

11 There are only two countries in the world where Coca-Cola is not sold: Cuba and North Korea.

12 Coke owns 20 brands that each generate more than $1 billion in sales per year! Here are all of them.

13 Mexicans are the biggest drinkers of Coke in the world

14 When Coca-Cola first launched it was marketed as a nerve tonic that "relieves exhaustion." This ad was published in 1886.

15 Here is the evolution of Coca Cola’s logos

16 Pepsi

17 Michael Jackson, Pink, Beyonce, Britney Spears, Enrique Iglesias, David Beckham and the X factor judges, all these big celebrities have endorsed the brand. Each can of Pepsi contains 8 teaspoons of sugar. It is funny that the slogan of “Come alive with Pepsi” was translated into Chinese meaning “Pepsi brings your ancestors back from the grave”. PEPSI’S FUN FACTS

18 The original logo of Pepsi was designed by the founder
The original logo of Pepsi was designed by the founder. He used a scribbled, handwritten logo script. From that point, the logo has changed 11 times. The current logo was designed in 2008 by the Arnell Group.

19 Pepsi Cola cans have also evolved throughout the years.

While some variations have a normal dot above the “i,” others have a dot in the shape of a chip, just like the Julius Pringle’s mustache.

25 THERE are OVER 100 FLAVORS of pringles on the market.
