As random as possible.

How are you planning to generalize your findings?
Minimize problems with convenient sampling
Your close friends are probably not the best sample.
Honest and Accurate Responses
Avoid experimenter bias
Do not over explain or “lead” your participants.
Emphasize confidentiality.
