2. Problem Description
Because of mergers and acquisitions some companies are running several schedulers, e.g. CA-7, OPC and Control-M. These environments are causing some special problems:
Every scheduler has its own dialog
The schedulers are installed on different systems
There are experts for each scheduler, but nobody for all
Somebody may need simple information like “how many jobs are running under CA-7”, but nobody can help him

You have to logon on several systems, that requires:
different userids
different password
different screens
different logon procedures
different start commands

One dialog

One logon, one userid and one password
Functions are available for all schedulers, and the handling is always the same, e.g. shortcuts, keystrokes, menus
All data is accessible in the same way, e.g. JCL, PROCs, Job History, Sources, DB2 information etc.
