4. Solids Made up of tiny particles called molecules
Tightly packed together
Have a definite shape and volume
Molecules can move or vibrate, but stay in place

Molecules are very close together, but can flow around each other

7. Liquids
If you pour water from the first container into the second container, the amount of water stays the same, but the water will change its shape.

The molecules move in all directions and are very far apart
