Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day

10AM – 2:00PM
Seneca High School Parking Lot
Items Collected Include: Used oil, pesticides, cleaning products, herbicides. (Paint will NOT be accepted)
The Oconee County Sheriff’s Department will be present to collect unused medications. Please mark out any personal information including name and prescription number.
Goodwill Industries in Cooperation with Oconee County Solid Waste will be present to collect unwanted electronics.
You must be a resident of Oconee County. Proof of residency (driver’s license, etc.) is required when you arrive at the collection location.
In case of rain, the Collection Day will be October 27th.

2. Paint Disposal Dried Paint can be placed in the garbage
Paint Disposal Dried Paint can be placed in the garbage. To dry paint, add sand, shredded newspaper or cat litter to cans and wait until it is completely dry. Dispose of in your household garbage.
