4 ADVANCED PLACEMENT(AP)
Recognized by more than 600 universities in more than 55 countries outside the U.S.A. More than 90% of four-year colleges and universities grant credit, placement, or both on the basis of the AP test score May testing date. Cost is $95.00 per test Military academies do not accept AP for college credit Additional links to learn more about Advanced Placement: apcentral.collegeboard.com/coursehomepages

5 DUAL ENROLLMENT Not a weighted grade, unless it is offered in an honors or AP class Local community colleges have indicated they will give college credit if the student successfully passes the course with a “C” or better Student takes the course here instead of at the Community College All in-state universities accept the CC credit, and most out-of-state do as well

6 DUAL ENROLLMENT Currently PHS is in partnership with Chandler/Gilbert Community College Most colleges accept the community college credits, but students should verify this with the 4 year institution PHS offers a variety of dual credit course. Refer to the “Dual Enrollment” sheet during registration time A fee will be charged for the college credits. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify Military academies do not accept the college credits Additional information about dual enrollment can be found at :
