Getting to know each other
First, I want to get an idea of who you are and what expectations you might have To begin, please close your laptops, so that we are all focused on paying attention to one another. When I call on you, first give your name slowly and clearly, and then please be prepared to discuss your major, career goals, where you’re from, and/or other expectations you might have for the class.

Combinatorial Auctions: How do we price items when selling packages of goods? Utility Theory: How do people change their expectations when making risky decisions? Course Selection: What bidding mechanisms work best for allocating access to seats in classes? Team Formation: How can we use people’s preferences for teammates to put them on teams? Auctions in the classroom: Teaching about emissions control, cap-and-trade regulations, game theory, and markets using interactive games.

Visit and bookmark the website. Click on the link with instructions for getting MS Project 2013 or 2016 (depending on your Office version.) If you will use a Mac laptop, be sure you can run Windows. Check ProjectDownload.doc from the website.
