Google has teamed up with the world's museums, heritage sites, etc. to create an online collection that offers users the chance to learn about some of the major figures and events of the past century.
Google Arts and Culture archives are intended as an online educational resource to preserve history in a place that is accessible to people when they need it.
Through the collections, significant moments in time are described with a mixture of photos, historical account and contemporary quotes.

Google Art & Culture will allow you to create and curate your own collection. You, or students, can build a project/collection thematically, chronologically, culturally, and more. (If you want others to be able to see your collection, you must make it Public.)
