5 UNIVERSITY OF ICELAND Language Centre
Event 1: Quality online resources from Socrates: how to find them, how to use them Summary of feed-back: 31/40 collected so far (77,5%) Expectations met entirely or up to a certain point. Almost all participants pleased with the workshops activities and organisation. A majority has NOT used the projects in teaching (21/31) Due to: lack of time, lack of interest, technical problems and for curriculum reasons. Also simply because they have enough resources. Most of them have talked to colleagues about projects. None have contacted NA or applied for EU grant. All would like to participate in another event. UNIVERSITY OF ICELAND Language Centre

6 UNIVERSITY OF ICELAND Language Centre
My impression: Small workshops: informal and relaxed atmosphere. Emphasis on teachers evaluation on projects. Less enthusiasm than I thought. Not very useful for this target group who seem to have too much workload to work on innovating resources/methods? Difficult to collect feed-back. UNIVERSITY OF ICELAND Language Centre

7 Event 2: Resources for autonomous language learners
Target group: Language learners in the University of Iceland Language Centre. Objective: to present quality on-line resources to autonomous language learners and encourage them to use them. UNIVERSITY OF ICELAND Language Centre

8 Event 2: Resources for autonomous language learners

11 UNIVERSITY OF ICELAND Language Centre
My impression: Useful for students (according to feedback) especially since this was in the beginning of the University year. Further follow-up necessary: interviews with students. 1 hour is too short; some participants commented that they would had appreciated more hands-on. Difficult to collect feed-back.
