2 Temporary Advance settlement process
Temporary advance settlement process in ERP is under development and until then manual accounting for Ty Advance settlement has to be resorted to. In this regard kindly refer this office letter no . BSNL/KRL/SSA-CORR/ /119 dated: (Published in knet ) Major highlights of the instructions aimed at handling GST scenario are BA heads may ensure that Temporary Advance is used only in urgent and unavoidable situations

3 Temporary Advance settlement process
All items of purchase which can be centralised and procured by the SSA office have to be kept out of the Temporary Advance process. BA Heads shall ensure that all required TY Advances are approved latest by 20th of a month. The Central Settlement Cell shall make payment of Ty Adv only up to 21st of the month . It should be ensured that the invoice relate to the month in which temporary advance is paid. Unutilized Ty Adv balance shall be remitted back to collection A/c at the time of settlement.

4 Temporary Advance settlement process
In order to ease the work load involved in the manual settlement IT Cell Kerala has developed a platform “Cash Management System” (CMS). Temporary advance holders shall be instructed to utilise CMS for consolidating expenditure as per GST requirements. Those who have already taken temporary advance through SAP and settlement pending,please create new user in the Cash Management module (Link available in Kannur net under intranet) Please input your HRMS No without first digit and mobile no , an OTP will be generated on your mobile , input OTP and proceed for new user/password creation. Use Mozilla Firefox browser.Any difficulty during user creation contact , ITCELL TVM. Claim Officer shall utilise the reports available in the CMS for passing settlement entries through fb60 in ERP. Temporary advance GL shall be made ‘Nil’ before the last working day of the month.
