Live video is not the same as recorded video
More preparation is required because you know cannot edit later. It is more engaging and exciting for the viewer because you are watching it live. It has the potential for give and take. Live Q&A. By its nature, the language is informal. Technical issues my distract you and your viewers? It is hard to find a show time that is best for all.

2- Technical issues You need to create an account to produce and you need to login in order to comment. You need a good camera. Don’t move a lot as you speak. Use a zoom in Zoom out as needed. Have an assistant or be vigilant to check instant messages (questions) If needed have an assistant to change the camera angle and/or location Keep a proper distance from the microphone.

3- Content & Performance
Have a brief intro and tell the viewers what they are about to watch. You have to have either a script or an outline Choose a topic that needs a demo. Otherwise an audio may serve the purpose. Choose a topic that most of your audience would like not the one that only you like. Practice well – Don’t read off the screen or off the page Use humor but not much Dress well and look professional (it adds credibility) Usually dialogue works better than monologue

4- General Lesson Don’t forget about Google. Try a different computer.
Try a different browser. There are stings for the developers and settings for the users. Don’t forget about peer instruction. Ask the instructor if you cannot find the solution.
