becomes Commissary to the Black Poor 1786;
travels extensively, including to Manchester 1790
Dies 1797; slave trade abolished 1807

6. Noor Inayat Khan Born 1914 and family moves from London to Paris 1920;
studies at Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris 1931 followed by the Sorbonne, University of Paris;
publishes ‘Twenty Jataka Tales’ 1939;
flees to England after invasion of Paris 1940;
joins WAAF 1940 and recruited to SOE, 1942;
airlifted to join Paris Resistance June 1943;
arrested October;
imprisoned at Pforzheim Germany;
September 1944, executed at Dachau;
awarded Croix de Guerre 1946 and George Cross 1949
