Planning is drawing a frame for a work. Once you set a plan for certain work, you should think about and decide what you are going to do and how you are going to do it.

*Why is planning important?
Planning makes your ideas clear. Planning is a way for proficiency competence. Planning gives you the chance to predict problems and set solutions for them.

*The yearly plan: The yearly plan is your vision as a staff head for the whole educational year. Preparing it at the beginning of the year is a necessity. The yearly plan depends on five main elements: The teacher, the learner, the syllabus, the activities and evaluation. This integral project needs harmony, organizing, clarity, determination and patience.

Some points for the yearly plan:
The first meeting with the staff teachers; to introduce yourself to be acquainted with each others. Dividing the syllabi according to the standard of your teachers. Achieving the second session exams. Preparing the teaching aids for the whole year. Checking the efficiency of the books.

Preparing the registers of the staff head. Preparing an inter-visitation plan. Preparing the written work of the year. Preparing a table for introducing the staff meetings. Dividing the competitions among the teachers. Attending the supervision meeting. Sending the teachers' data to the supervision.

Some points for the monthly plan:
Preparing the exams for the periods. Preparing the result analysis after the exams. Preparing a plan for the low achievers and top pupils. Preparing special written work for the low achievers. Honouring the top pupils. Providing the school website with your exams, activities …etc. Checking the lesson models at the end of every month.

When you speak about the new teacher, you speak about a person who needs your help, co- operation, friendship and kindness. And you have to: Record his/her personal information. Take him/her for a school tour. Introduce him/her to the school principal and the staff members.

The student teacher in your school is your guest and you should be generous with him/her.
The student teacher should attend the school at 7:30 a.m. and leaves at p.m. The student teacher should teach one syllabus with one or two classes. The student teacher has to follow the administrative and technical instructions.

You -as a staff head- and the members of the staff should be co-operative and friendly with him/her.
The student teacher should visit the classes for nearly two weeks before teaching. (Intensive inter-visitation). You should check his/her written preparation daily. When necessary, he / she should bear not more than two over periods weekly.

It's important for him/her to use simple teaching aids.
Motivate him/her to introduce a lesson model to increase his/her self-confidence. Holding several sub-meetings with him/her. Give him/her a training course at the beginning of the semester.

Encourage him/her to share in the school radio programs.
The student teacher should take part in the activities of the department. You should write three separate reports for the student teacher, he/she signs two of them at the end at the first two periods but the last one should be secret and you should deliver it to the university yourself.

Help him/her to prepare an exam.
Ask him/her to fulfill a check-list at the end of the third period to be sure that he/she understood your technical instructions and achieved the experience successfully.
