2. Skill Standards 2.1 Setting of National Skill Standards
To determine sets of knowledge, skills, and attitudes required by each job, usually classified into levels 1, 2, and 3.

2.2 Testing of National Skill Standards To conduct theoretical and practical test of applicants based on contents of national skills standards. Benefits for successful examinees include higher job opportunities, career advancement, and decent wages.

2.2 Testing of National Skill Standards 2.3 Skill Testing of Overseas Job Seekers Job-specific skill test is often needed and conducted for Thai workers seeking jobs overseas. They must pass DSD’s overseas job seekers skill test, or DSD-authorized skill test required by overseas employers.

Such tools will be useful for determining their work plans, recruitment, staff selection and appropriate wages.

Activities: Entrepreneurs are required to Train their own employees or Send them to train at other training providers/centers Benefits: Entrepreneurs who do the above will Get income tax exemption of 200% of training expenditure Get other training assistance from DSD Conditions: Training projects eligible for benefits must Comply with the stipulations Be submitted with documents of training curriculums and expenditure for official approval in advance Training requirement according to the Act: The establishments with at least 100 employees must train at least half of their total employees yearly
