Typefocus Reflection By: Mia Kumata
I'm not very surprised with my results, they were pretty accurate and correct. A few of my career occupations were surprising because I never thought that some of the suggested careers would be in any of my interests.

Aspects that I like or think should be changed
I like how it asks you many questions to really get to know you and it having many outcomes for different people, we all didn't get the same results. If I made those tests I wouldn’t change much except for the job results, I found it very confusing to find recommended jobs for my values, interests, and personality. Other than that I wouldn't change anything because I found the test accurate and successful.

Personality Results Warm Sensitive Quiet Reliable Practical Organized
Dependable Conscientious My Personality results is as true as it gets, I am a sensitive and quiet person. I can be outgoing sometimes when I am around my friends but most of the times I'd rather be alone. Careers that value my traits are in the helping/teaching area. My suggested careers are librarian, office manager, secondary school teacher, genetic counsellors, etc. The ability to have all these qualities help get the job done for many occupations.

Interests Results Artistic Social Conventional
A few occupations for my artistic side would have to do with working with forms, designs, and patterns, for example an Artist, Fashion Designer, Graphic Designer, Illustrator, etc. Occupations for people who are intrested in social careers would involve communication, teaching, helping, and/or providing service to others. A few examples of social occupations would be a counsellor, school psychologist, teacher, lawyer, etc. Conventional occupations involve following set procedures and routines and work with data and detail. Examples for this type of occupation would be a clerk, financial analyst, cashier, typist, etc.

Values Results Achievement Relationships Independence
Occupations for the achievement value would have results oriented and have employees using their strongest abilities to give them a feeling of accomplishment.These values need AbIliad Utilization and achievement. Occupations that have to do with relationship values allow employees to have friendly relationships with their co-workers in a non-competitive environment, the needs for thos value is co-workers, moral values, and social service. Occupations for the independence value has employees making decisions by themselves. The corresponding needs for this value is creativity, responsibility, and autonomy.

Success Factor Results (part one)
Background: I am neutral for my choice or careers, I have a few options for what I want to do but I am not set on it yet. I should go talk to a teacher or counsellor for getting more focused on it. My average high school grades are good so I should I should continue taking advantage of all the resources available to me. Accepts Responsibility: My results say that I take responsibility for my actions so I should do well, when I succeed I accept my satisfaction of the achievement and when I do fail, I learn from it and do better next time. Willing to Compete: I have a nice balance between grades and living life, which is good because life is not all about grades. I should go talk to a counsellor if I think my I am missing something in my attitude towards competing for good grades, but everything is fine the way it is right now. Self-Esteem: My score show that I am most likely confident of my abilities and accepting myself. General Health: I am in the middle range for this topic, being active, getting enough sleep, and avoiding harmful substances make up a healthy life. I was reminded to take myself seriously Time Management: My results say that I have good time management and that I fit the important things in life into my schedule and are regularly busy but not overwhelmed.

Success Factor Results (part two)
Reaching Out: I may feel lonely at times and I am comfortable with my range of friends and activities, but if I do ever feel lonely I should go talk to a counsellor. They will help me find a club to join and they are also good listeners. Social Support: I have a high level of support from family and friends and they understand the value of my education goals. Campus Life Events: My score says that I am in the middle of this topic. I've had some good and bad experiences and I have been treated alright in school. If this is important to me I should go discuss my scores to a counsellor and see what I can do. External Commitments: I am not loaded with a lot of extra commitments, meaning I can concentrate on my studies. I am doing well on this topic Goal Persistence: I have a strong sense of goal commitment. I accomplish a lot more than others and feel a good sense in achievement.
