objective When advertising this company(Publix) my goal is expand the business. As of now there is only Publix's in 6 states and one is working on being built in Virginia , but Publix is an amazing company with great prices so the purpose of my advertisement would be to get Publix’s built in all 50 states maybe even some out of the country. In order to achieve this goal my advertisement would need to appeal to all different types of people. The ad would need to explain how Publix is a better choice than any other market or store.

History of the founder George W. Jenkins was born September 29, 1907
He grew up in Harris Georgia where he worked in his fathers store After moving to Florida he worked as a clerk in a Piggly Wiggly grocery store After only a couple months he became the manager He held the manager position in the chains largest store from Months later he resigned to open his own store

History of Publix First Publix was called Publix Food Store and was opened on September 6th 1930 in Winter Haven After opening another location he closed both of them to open the Publix Super Market on November 8th 1940 Publix began closing old stores and opening modern ones in the 1950s 16 years later Publix recorded its first 1 million dollar profit Not even 20 years later they recorded their first 1 billion dollar profit In 1990 George Jenkins was succeeded by Howard Jenkins In 1991 a huge mile stone was crossed when a Publix was opened outside of Florida for the first time in 1993 Publix opened its first store in South Carolina Howards cousin Charlie Jenkins Jr. is now the CEO

Target group The target group of this advertisement would be any age, gender, and race because anybody can shop at Publix and all different types of people go into these stores.

budget Publix usually has a budget of about 900 million dollars to get their ads in newspapers and magazines and to have their commercials aired on T.V. so people around the state can see them

Impact on society Publix has a impact on society because it has all things you need including food and it has them at a affordable price so it will not be difficult to obtain your necessities. Publix also sells reusable bags and they heavily promote recycling which some stores like Walmart don’t. They also constantly are trying to improve the community by doing certain charities and donating money to certain causes. As a business Publix is trying to improve our environment and our society.
