College Career Pathways
College Career Pathways (CCP), is a federally funded program which allows high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to earn up to 13 FREE college credits, by taking classes at their high school Asnuntuck Community College and WLHS have established an articulation agreement, making this possible

CCP: Addressing a National Need
Bringing Success Into Focus Future educational success will require educational programs to keep pace with a rapidly-changing business and economic environment 21st Century High school students need: To graduate with a strong academic education Obtain Career and Technical Education skills; and Be prepared to transition to some postsecondary education, if required

Career Pathways A career pathway is a coherent, articulated sequence of rigorous academic and career-related courses These classes start in 10th grade and can lead to an associates degree (2-years); and/or an industry-recognized certificate or licensure; and/or a baccalaureate (4-years)and beyond.

Asnuntuck Community College CCP Application Process
Speak to your guidance counselor about whether you qualify for CCP credit. You can take approved classes during your sophomore, junior and/or senior year Fill out CCP and Asnuntuck applications in the Fall of your senior year ACC Transcripts are available to CCP students in late summer after graduation Individual colleges make the determination of which ACC/CCP credits they will accept

Benefits of College Career Pathways Through ACC
Allows high school students to take college-level courses, for which they can earn up to 13 free transferrable college credit Potential savings? Up to $20,000, (not even counting room and board!)

STEAM Fair at ACC ACC’s CCP Program holds a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Fair each year Students, staff and faculty are invited to attend this FREE event This year’s event will be held on Wednesday, April 9th
