Welcome back

What have you learnt today?

What do you want to achieve as a Sustainable Schools Ambassador?
Towards the back of your booklet there is a blank page with this question at the top. Summarise what you want to achieve through: an explanation a list a mind-map You don’t need to write a lot of things – remember you are expected to do one activity per term that is aimed at making your school more sustainable.

What next? Meet with the member of staff from your school who is going to support you and discuss your ideas for what you’d like to achieve while you are an Ambassador. Log on to the Wiki and introduce yourself. Have a look through the information that is on the Wiki that might help you. Start planning your first term’s activities. You could do this individually or with the other Ambassador from your school. Make sure you speak to the member of staff who is supporting you to discuss your ideas and get their advice to help with your planning. Over the summer holidays keep an eye open for newspaper or magazine articles and TV programmes that are linked to sustainability. You might be able to use some of this material to help you inform others in your school.
