This program exists to instruct young men in the skills of basketball, to help develop them in life, and to make it a positive high school experience.

6. Player’s Gear – FS, JV, Varsity
Practice Gear - New players, for all practices $50 (summer)
Seasonal Gear - For each level, players purchase the gear.
* UA Warm-ups $65-100
* UA Shoes (varsity – Nike) $85-90
* Backpacks (optional) $40-50
* Shirts $18-20
Total (complete) $208 FS, $230 JV, $275 Varsity
No player will be excluded for inability to purchase gear. Gear selection to promote team unity and program. Separate game uniforms provided by school, maintained by players and returned at season end.
We are asking for checks (Donations) to:

7. Transportation
We transport ourselves to and from games. We will take buses only for the furthest contests.
Parents will provide transportation or permission to another parent to transport.
Players can transport themselves as well, but only themselves.
Coaches can not provide transportation.
We will be sending district paperwork home in regards to this.

8. Practice and Game Times
Varsity 4:30-6:30pm
JV 2:30-4:30pm**
FS 6:30-8:30pm**
Saturdays TBA—Typically in the morning
Games are typically 3:00, 4:30, 6:00pm (Tues & Fri)
Tournaments are TBA and can last several days.
Basketball players are expected to attend everything or communicate with coach ahead of time. Playing time will be effected from not being responsible with communication.
** Times may change between lower level teams depending on work schedules for coaches.

9. Player Expectations Players will achieve good grades.
Players will be good citizens and teammates.
Players will represent Cypress HS at all times.
Players will be on-time and dressed appropriately.
Players will be committed, attend all practices & games, and provide their best effort.
Players will respect coaches, players and others.
Players will communicate and encourage teammates (no poor attitudes).

10. Parent Expectations
Support the entire program. Competitive, not everyone can play equivalent minutes.
Demonstrate good sportsmanship.
Respect other parents, coaches and players. We are all here for the boys.
Participate in fundraisers to the best of your ability.
Volunteer to assist when needed.
BE POSITIVE and ENCOURAGING !!!!
