Teaching Aims: To help the students to get to know the country New Zealand To deal with some main points Get the students to know some knowledge and information about New Zealand in order to improve each other’s understanding and friendship. Key Points: 1. To learn about New Zealand’s geography, climate, natural beauty and history. 2. To improve the students’ reading ability. Difficult Point: To enable the students to talk about topics of New Zealand.

Give some questions and use map and the tape recorder to conduct the students to read the passage carefully. 2.The students take part in the class and answer the questions actively. Leading-in . Who knows anything about New Zealand?
New Zealand’s awesome (wonderful) landscapes, beautiful forests, amazing wildlife and pleasant climate make it a haven (a place for rest) for many outdoor activities, and a great place to unwind. New Zealand society is diverse(various), sophisticated(not simple), and multicultural, and the honesty, friendliness, and openness of Kiwis will impress you. And the great advantage of New Zealand is that all of its diverse physical, cultural,and artistic landscapes are so close to each other.
