2 James Nachtwey James Nachtwey is an American photojournalist and war photographer. He started working as a newspaper photographer in 1976 at the Albuquerque Journal. In 1980, he moved to New York and began working as a freelance photographer. Covered his first overseas assignment in Northern Ireland illustrating civil strife in 1981. Documented a variety of armed conflicts and social issues, spending time in South Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, Russia, Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union shooting pictures of war and conflict. Images are more objective.

3 Edward Burtynsky Canadian photographer and artist known for his large-format photographs of industrial landscapes. most famous photographs are sweeping views of landscapes altered by industry. His work is housed in more than 50 museums including the Guggenheim Museum, the National Gallery of Canada, and the Bibliothèque Nationale, Paris. Influences include Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Eadweard Muybridge, Carleton Watkins. Most of Edward Burtynsky’s exhibited photography was taken with a large format field camera on large 4x5- inch sheet film and developed into high-resolution, large-dimension prints of various sizes and editions ranging from 18 x 22 inches to 60 x 80 inches. He often positions himself at high-vantage points over the landscape using elevated platforms, the natural topography, and more currently helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. Images are subjective.
